Once you've signed into BMO InvestorLine, simply look for the 5 Star Centre on the right side, and click to open and launch Active Trader.

Platinum and Diamond members will receive BMO Active Trader Pro, while Gold members will receive BMO Active Trader* * Level 2 market data is only available within BMO Active Trader Pro (in addition to Level 1)

Yes. You will be able to trade equities, ETFs, and options on BMO Active Trader.

There will be no additional platform or data fees for members of BMO InvestorLine's 5 Star Program to use BMO Active Trader Pro or BMO Active Trader.

  • Trade frequently, whether that be a few times a month to multiple times a day.
  • Regularly trade options and various options strategies.
  • Am interested in accessing real-time streaming Level 1 and Level 2* market data.
  • Want access to a robust charting application with technical studies.
  • Want quick access to news, analysis tools and insights into what's moving the markets.
    • * Level 2 market data is only available within BMO Active Trader Pro (in addition to Level 1)
