5 Star Program Terms and Conditions 5 Star Program Flat Fee Pricing is applied to electronic trades executed on our website or through Automated Telephone Trading service. Although trades executed by a BMO InvestorLine Representative are excluded from Flat Fee Pricing, they do qualify for 5 Star discounts on trade commissions. A trade is defined as a filled commissionable equity or option order. Trades under Flat Fee Pricing are charged on a per order basis and are not bundled for discounts. For example, where multiple trades are made on the same account for the same security – on the same exchange, the same side of the market and the same day – each trade is charged the applicable commission rate. For option assignment and exercises, and CNQ market trades, the regular commission schedule applies. Preferred interest rates do not apply to registered accounts, which receive standard interest rates. BMO InvestorLine will reimburse transfer fees based on standard industry rates, to a maximum of $200 (CDN) per transfer, and may limit this offer at its discretion. Clients must belong to the 5 Star Program at the time the RRSP administration fee is being charged (December 31 of each year). Level II quotes (market depth) are only available for NASDAQ, the Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture markets. For accounts to be combined to qualify for the 5 Star Program, they must be owned and/or co-owned by the same client; or they may be linked to a single User ID registered under the 5 Star Program. This Program is not open to Investment Club and Partnership accounts. BMO InvestorLine reserves the right to exclude accounts at any time. Program evaluation dates are March 31, June 30, Sept. 30 and Dec. 31. Qualifying accounts and User IDs begin receiving Program benefits the day after the evaluation date. The regular
commission schedule applies for non-qualifying clients. All
commission rates and services are subject
to change. |
