Build a diversified portfolio with No Commission Fee ETFs
We’re excited to introduce zero online commission fees when you buy or sell some of Canada’s most popular exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Our curated list has been carefully selected from the three top Canadian manufacturers - Vanguard, iShares, and BMO - allowing you to build a well-diversified portfolio or take specific positions in different markets. Buying a commission-free ETF leaves you with more cash in your investments.
How to qualify
- Available to any Self-Directed investor who wants to add ETFs to their portfolio
- Trade* any of the over 80 eligible ETFs listed online. Look out for further in-platform notices that will identify the eligible ETFs.
- Hold the eligible ETF for a minimum of one business day from the date of purchase (no day trading)
*Regular commission fees will apply if one or more trades are made in the opposite direction (buy and sell, or, sell and buy) on the same ETF on the same day. Not applicable for short sell trades. Applies to online trading only. Commission-free ETF trades are not included in the trade-count used to qualify for the 5 Star Program
