  1. Sign in to your account: Enter your account number followed by the temporary password you created on your account application.


  2. Choose a new account password: The first time you sign in to your account, you will be asked to create a new password. You will also be asked to create challenge questions and answers that will allow you to reset your password in the future.


  3. Review exchange agreements: North American stock exchanges require investors’ consent to certain terms and conditions before they can receive real-time quotes electronically. Please review the exchange agreements and provide your consent.


  4. Fund your account: Be sure you deposit sufficient funds into your account so you can perform trades. To learn more, visit our FAQs


  5. Choose a trading password (optional): Use the Account services menu to choose a trading password for your account. If you do not choose a separate trading password for your account, you can use your account password.
